JOLIET, Illinois -- Trey Eidson continued his dominance as of late as he won Saturday's Alienware Series Chicagoland 200 at Chicagoland Speedway.

It was Eidson's fourth win in the last six races and the first career victory of the Concord, North Carolina's driver at the 18-degree banked tri-oval.

With many different strategies throughout the race, the lead was swapped between four dominant drivers, Trey Eidson, Michel Berk, Jonathan Berthier and Giorgio Ponti.

Cautions plagued the first half of the race with the most notable caution being on lap 68. Entering Turn 3, Jonathan Berthier spun and collected Michel Berk. Their cars sustained heavy damage.

The final caution came out on lap 82 when Berthier lost control again in Turn 1. This time, Ronnie Robbins got involved in the incident.

All drivers made their final stop with 52 laps remaining. On the last run, Ponti and Eidson broke away from the rest of the field to sort it out on their own. With 13 laps remaining, Eidson made a move off of Turn 2 to capture the lead for good and put the No. 25 Buffalo Wild Wings Toyota in Victory Lane.

Giorgio Ponti came home second. Robbins fought back for to finish third, while Van Nevel and Lewis rounded out the top five.

The race was slowed by five cautions for 20 laps with 13 lead changes among six drivers.

The ESCORS Alienware Series will visit Gateway International Raceway next for the running of the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 200.
